UP's first-ever Economic Survey charts a costed roadmap to a $1 trillion economy. GSDP has grown at an 11.71% CAGR (FY19–FY26) to $359.5 billion, and the UP Global Investors Summit alone drew ₹33.5 lakh crore in investment proposals — the largest investor-summit response of any Indian state. Four policies, all approved or already in motion, give the Summit a genuine foundation to convene around.
2024 Semiconductor Policy
Has already drawn ₹40,000 Cr+ in investment proposals, backed by a 50% top-up capital subsidy and a 10-year electricity duty exemption.
Startup Policy 2026
Approved 8 July 2026 — 20 new Centres of Excellence (₹12 Cr each), a dedicated Startup Mission Directorate, and patient capital of up to ₹100 crore.
AI Pragya Skilling Program
Targets 10 lakh+ youth, teachers, gram pradhans, government staff and farmers for AI/ML skilling, with Microsoft, Intel, Google and Guvi as partners.
